Registration
We are inviting students and early career professionals to attend the ESSIR 2026. Each participant must register and pay the registration fee.
The acceptance will be based on the FIFO principle, i.e., first to successfully register is first to be accepted to the school. However, we reserve the right to refuse applications based on the assessment of the candidate’s appropriateness to the profile/background and ethics of the school.

The registration fee provides full access to the summer school, coffee breaks and lunch, and participation to the welcome reception and gala dinner.

The late registration period for ESSIR 2026 has now closed, and online registration is no longer available; however, onsite registration remains possible. Requests concerning additional registrations should be addressed to support@2026.essir.eu. Prospective participants who wish to attend are also invited to submit a registration request by e-mail to support@2026.essir.eu, including their full name, affiliation, and country.
We look forward to welcoming all registered participants to Bucharest on 27–31 July 2026.
Cancellation/refund policy
All the funds are to be used to ensure the full organization of the school, i.e., location, food and beverages, the social events, etc. This requires planning and advance payment of the services. Therefore, we cannot provide cancelation with refunding but only in a 2-day window after successful payment of the registration fees. After this period, refunding is not going to be possible.
